They are hallmarked for Chester 1902 with the maker being Nathan & Hayes (George Nathan & Ridley Hayes). They have been superbly designed being cast in the form of a harlequin or jester. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs.

THE COVERS TO THE BASES ARE COMING AWAY AND NEED RE-SEALING (PROBABLY CAUSED WHEN THEY WERE USED AS SALTS) SILVER PEDESTAL BASE WITH MOTHER OF PEARL DISHES SET ABOVE, MADE FOR CAVIAR THOUGH A LOT GOT USED AS SALTS. A compact sterling silver oval box with a hinged lid, decorated in relief with scrolling foliate motifs. Hallmarks: Chester mark, letter «A»-1901. It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and use (minor dings and scratches).

An antique sterling silver Chatelaine type Spectacle case, holder, holder just under 6 inches long, 9 inches long in total with chain, top and bottom hallmarked for Chester 1899, maker CC, all uncleaned, no initials, pronounced dent to bottom point, pushed in to top, some dings to plain central circular panel, some dings to rear, top good, plush lined inner good, weighs 64 grams total weight including material liner, good hand engraving, worthy of some attention, restoration.
