Wood is pine. Antique hand carved eagle. found one small crack in one feather, does not seem to go through to the back. about 4.75 in. thick head to back. not sure of age. late 1800s early 1900s. top to bottom 10.5 in.

This Vintage Solid Brass or Copper Raised Eagle Head Lamp Topper was part of an Old Copper Exterior Lamp Post Light circa 1950’s. Great exterior built up Patina on this Mid century piece. It is quite heavy for a small finial and does appear copper in color so I’m not totally sure if its solid brass or copper. I can confirm its age, as it belonged to my next door neighbor in the 1950’s. It measures approx. 3″ high x 3″ wide and has a standard 3/8″ thread opening.
