The maps are made of a cloth material, and the frame is metal. I am not sure the exact year this is as made. Barn fresh not cleaned. Measurements are shown in the photos. No returns, happy bidding! In decent used condition. Please view the photos as they are part of the description. The copyright was 1904. The case is 67” wide. The map is 65” wide by roughly 42”. The map is in good condition for the age and size of the map. The map itself is not perfect and is worn in several areas. The bottom of the left hand corner, has an area of the map damaged but it still perfectly working. Please view the photos as they are part of the description.
This map carries a wonderful piece of local history. Van der Grinten Projection: Beautiful full global layout centered on the Atlantic Ocean. The clear protective overlay layers are entirely intact without any excessive stains or heavy marks.
