A superb rare large heavy Spanish silver articulated fish. I would it to c1950s. It has been superbly designed being made up in various pieces allowing it to move like a fish and it has red gem set eyes.
The product is a sterling silver vase made by Sheffield. It features a Lyon head design and is originated from Spain. This elegant piece is a single unit that showcases intricate craftsmanship and high-quality materials, making it a valuable addition to any antique collection or home decor.
Its marked on the inside of the box with the Castro mark Cas-tro in a square. I have not cleaned or polished the silver. It tests Sterling. Castro was the most famous silversmith/goldsmith in Spain in the 18th century.
