This vintage coat is in pristine condition and has a history. In 1947 my mother was a Billy Tilton model, a cigarette girl at the Statler Hotel in Cleveland Ohio, and a Rosy The Riveter. She married in 1947 and this custom was a wedding present from her soon to be husband. It has her initials LG stitched inside. She was a swing dancer and this is a swing coat. It is lined in satin. Has deep pockets. Has been kept and thoughtfully maintained for nearly 8 decades. Collar to hem is 34 inches, shoulder to shoulder 18 inches and 24 inches underarm to underarm. Looks to be about a size 12 but size isn’t on the coat as was custom for a customized coat back then. New note: missing a button. Have to find one that matches
